Freshman business administration major and Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College student Caleb Green is one of 1,000 students from the United States that was selected to be a Gates Millennium Scholar this year. Green excelled in the competitive scholarship process and was selected out of the national pool of an estimated 53,000 applicants.

While Gates Millennium Scholars excel academically, they must also exemplify leadership qualities and give back through community service. During his tenure at »Æ¹ÏÊÓÆµ, he will also play outfield on the university’s baseball team.

Upon graduation Caleb hopes to continue his education in public health and business administration. His ultimate career goal is to assist his father with the family’s health and disabilities transportation business.
